Please ensure you update the surgery with new mobile phone numbers and/or email addresses. You will also need to inform us if these details apply to other members of your household such as children. We can make sure all records are kept up to date.
These are quick, easy and efficient ways of communicating with you but relies on us holding the correct information. This is particularly useful when we need to communicate with a lot of patients all at once such as inviting to flu vaccine clinics or when needing to contact people quickly such as cancelling appointments due to staff sickness.
You can not currently initiate a text message to the surgery and most messages do not allow you to reply. Occasionally we will allow you to respond but this depends on the purpose of the message. You can initiate emails to the surgery which should be directed to our admin account. This account is monitored by multiple staff members and your query will be directed to the most appropriate member of the team. Emails sent to individual staff accounts may have a delay in response in the case of sickness or leave. Admin.W91019@wales.nhs.uk
You can decline this service if you inform the surgery admin staff but if you provide us with your mobile phone number or email address we will assume consent for us to communicate with you in this way. You can withdraw consent at any time. Our Data Protection Officer is Sister Rachel Barnes.
